Annual Report 2018

Small improvement in 2018 results as expected, the transition process continues

In Denmark, we improved the operational performance after several changes in organization, structure, systems and processes. Our staff restaurant segment, APPETIZE+, continues to grow with new customers enjoying our daily serving of homemade food and take-away. We also obtained the Nordic Eco-label within window polishing as one out of only three suppliers in Denmark.

In Norway, we continued to perform well, and additional Oslo customers were secured during the end of 2018 forming the basis for a build-up towards a strong footprint.

The Swedish results again impacted the overall results significantly. The continuous negative development in Sweden led to the start of a reconstruction process in November 2018 to ensure a sustainable business going forward. The reconstruction includes focusing on the larger cities and streamlining operations while at the same time continuing our high-quality deliverance to our customers. The reconstruction has been concluded end of May 2019 and is expected to meet overall objective and thereby contribute positively to the 2019 results.

"2018 showed a positive development, but 2019 will still be a year of transition with focus on optimization and continuous improvement of our margin. With the reconstruction in Sweden concluded, we expect a continuous positive development of the results in 2019"
Anders Egehus, CEO
